Mr. Fuad is the Managing Director and CEO of North Star.

He has served as a Financial Advisor to one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh, Akij Group and Akij Venture Group, having advised on numerous expansions into sectors such as FMCG, dairy, bicycle, paper, electronics, cables and life insurance.  

He has served as the Chief Investment Officer of City Bank Capital where he was responsible for managing proprietary portfolio and Institutional discretionary portfolios. He was in lead of investment strategy development including asset allocation recommendations, market assessment and outlook, and new asset class and investment strategy identification.

Prior to joining City Bank Capital, Mr. Fuad worked as an Associate Manager, Foreign Institutional Sales team at City Brokerage Limited, a leading institutional stock brokerage firm in Bangladesh. He was responsible for equity sales to foreign funds trading in Bangladesh market and oversaw trade execution process.

Mr. Fuad is a graduate of Queen Mary University of London, UK where he received his MSc. degree in Investment and Finance. He also obtained certification on "Capital Market: Policy and Development" from Indian Institute of Capital Market, Mumbai.

He is considered a leading authority on investment and financial management and leadership in the country.
