Shaifur Rahman joined in 2011 as a Sr. Executive, A & F and latterly was promoted as Head of Accounts and Compliance Officer.

He prepares all the accounting work for North Star and plays an active role in the preparation of audited financial statements, tax returns, and investments and inward remittance-related reports and schedules to support financial reports to the management and the funds.

He has conducted various analyses to ensure the portfolio management services are in compliance with regulations, and prepares quarterly and annual financial statements. In addition to his expertise includes ERP setup and use, and helping small businesses design and implement effective accounting systems, he was also advised on client regulatory and accordingly matters, as required.

Shaifur Rahman started his career with Dhaka Telephone Company Limited as an Executive, Accounts and Finance in 2007. He served for two years as a Senior Executive F/A for Independent Television and BOL (Bangladesh On line Ltd) both concerns of BEXIOMCO Group.

Mr. Rahman is preparing for his Associate Chartered Certified Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Honours and a Master’s degree in accounting.
